Appropriate respirators shall be used as required by OSHA standards when preventing occupational diseases caused by breating contaminated air is not possible or fasible. Contaminants may include harmful dusts, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, and vapors. The employer shall be responsible for establishing and maintaining a Respiratory Protection Program, with their own worksite-specific procedures.
