New California Requirement for 2026: California Workplace - Know Your Rights
Workers in California are entitled to know and exercise your workplace and constitutional rights. Labor laws, including but not limited to standards for wages, hours, and health and safety, apply to all workers in the state regardless of immigration status.
On or before February 1, 2026, and each year after that, an employer must provide employees with a required workplace rights notice. The notice will be updated annually. The notice currently is available in English and Spanish. Compliance Posters of America has created a poster to help employers comply with this new requirement available in either a 18” x 24” or a 24” x 30” format, available in either English and Spanish, and laminated for durability.
